The reach is anchored in Europe by the full 29-country Schengen Area, all visa-free, alongside Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong in Asia, most of Latin America and the CA-4 neighbors in the Americas, and the usual Caribbean, Pacific, Asia, and Africa set for a #37 passport. The United States and the United Kingdom are not visa-free; US travel requires a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, because El Salvador is not in the Visa Waiver Program and no ESTA route exists, and UK travel requires a Standard Visitor visa obtained in advance, because El Salvador is on the UK visa national list and is therefore not ETA-eligible. From 2026 the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) will require a pre-travel authorization for Schengen entry, which is a travel authorization rather than a visa, so Schengen destinations remain visa-free.
